Our curator, Martha Gabriel, brought to Virada Digital several artists that will exhibit their work in the hubs during the three-day event. But what is the concept behind those works? Martha explains:

"Art and technology have always walked hand in hand since de dawn of time. However, in our social and cultural scene, highly technological, the possibilities for exploring those kinds of interface, interactions and artistic questionings gets broader and integrated with emerging digital platforms. The field of experimentation, in this context, reaches from reflexions from digital transformations to the use, appropriations and transgressions of those technologies.  Virada Digital's art exhibit tries to show a little of those possibilities. With that in mind, for jobs were chosen: Gira.SOL (materiality), Digital Poetry (visual poems), the QR Comms (video + mobile) and SENSITIVE ROSE (visual poems + mobile). The works were scattered throughout the event in order to mingle art and its reflexions to the other digital discussions in course, once art is (and have always been) in every dimension of life."
